135 - Lights Out (2013)

The shortest of our selections for the entire month, David Sandberg's 2013 short accomplishes more in two and a half minutes than many features do with much more. Sandberg got the chance to adapt this to a feature in 2016, and has gone on to work in the Conjuring Universe as director of "Annabelle: Creation", as well as the DCEU as director of both "Shazam" films!
